That's an interesting review which matches my opinion of the adventure
This sentence is a good answer to the criticisms (not sure of the spelling of this one !) of the other reviews mentionned on this forum : "There is very little scope for interaction, virtually all of the denizens of this dungeon are going to attack on sight and have no 'background' or detail about who they are or why they are here... but that's not really the point. The original was a dungeon crawl too."
I guess this review cheers you up after the disappointment of the first ones.
Glad you liked the review - I'm just writing one on 'Caverns of the Snow Witch' which will be up shortly.
I'd been playing D&D for some 5-6 years when Fighting Fantasy books first emerged, but they were good for a) passing time in airports and b) bringing new players into role-playing. And there are times when one really just wants to go out and KILL something rather than role-play :-)
The 2 D20 versions I've seen so far are excellent (for what they are) and I certainly hope to see more of them!
