I have some concern with Rillion's stats. From his description it looks like he should be a bard but his stats describe him as a fighter. If so, how is it possible for him to have Perform (lute) +10 ? His max rank is 5 and with his Charisma (+3), he should have +8. The same is true for Move Silently. But more importantly, how does he cast spells ? Is his lute magical ?
I only bought the book yesterday so I might have missed something clearly stated in the text...
That's all for today |

Sorry that this has taken so long to get a reply
Yes, Rillion 'should' have been a Bard, but I cannot yet reveal why the decision was made to make him what he is.
All will be revealed..... soon

If you check nearly all the npc's in the adventures seem to be fighters, clerics, sorcerors and thieves (and whilst a wizard is better than a sorceror any day the Wizards in Fighting Fantasy are few and far between with some young adventurous types picking up a few spells here and there without really bothering to learn what they're doing, hence the logistical explanation for sorcerors).
There are some statted as barbarians in a few places in some of the earlier adventure (giant or troll or ogre from Firetop Mountain? Maybe a few more) but on the whole they seem to conform to a 4 class limit.

At a guess, it's something to do with the upcoming rpg and the class selections available in that?

I believe it is.
Sorry, I forgot to put that supposition in my last post and had been meaning to go back and edit it but then I went to sleep (and now I'm awake in the middle of the night, crazy, I know).
