DEATHTRAP DUNGEON
COVER ART
The cover art for this adventure is the same illustration by Mel Grant that was used on the new re-released Fighting Fantasy book. It has been incorporated into the Myriador cover design by Martin McKenna.
Internal Illustrations
Most of the internal Illustrations are Iain McCaig's originals from the 1984 version of Deathtrap Dungeon (Which are fantastic). However, both Tony Hough and Martin McKenna, two seasoned FF artists, have provided the new illustrations required for monsters etc.
Cartography
The map for Deathtrap Dungeon has been loving created by Martin McKenna (gawd bless im). And I think you will all agree when you see it that he has done a FANTASTIC job of it.

Just want to post as many thanks as I can on these forums....I can't beleive someone has finally converted these games.
Is the ninja in the module not to mention the other contestents? Throm for example?
(whoops, this topic is about artists, sorry jamie.....great art by the way, I like the cover art on the newly released paperback. I always liked the Corben ones as well from the old American releases...) |

Welcome to the Myriador forum cimerians

Indeed, all of the old contestants appear in the d20 conversion: Throm the Barbarian, The Female Elven knife thrower, The Knight, The other Barbarian and of course the Ninja
Where abouts in the world are you
Have you brought Warlock and Caverns yet

I am located in the USA (Chicago actually)
I have searched everywhere on the most common websites and I cannot find Warlock or Snow Witch or any Myriador product
I would gladly order them from the UK but Amazon.UK does not seem to have them.
Since I have read most of the early books countless times I look forward to reading the modules to see how they have been converted. I know I will enjoy them
Two more questions:
I really liked the interior artwork as well. Will we be seeing any of that in the modules?
Are these modules based on the FF world? World of Allansia as I recall, with places like Port Blacksand etc. I know some books took place in different\alternate worlds though..... |

Two more answers
1. For Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Caverns of the Snow Witch and SORCERY! The Shamutanti Hills we have had new artwork created from two VERY tallented artists: Martin McKenna and Janine Johnston. However, for Deathtrap Dungeon we have used quite a few of the original Iain McCaig illustrations as well as some new ones by both Tony Hough (Night Dragon FF55) and our Martin McKenna.
2. YES! The Fighting Fantasy, d20 convertions are set on Titan the FF game world as created by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone.
So far, Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Caverns of the Snow Witch and Deathtrap Dungeon are set on Allansia while SORCERY! takes place on the Old World.

I am sure some have seen this site, it lists cover art for the UK and U.S releases as well as others. (The U.S release mainly features Corben art and is the white covered books).
