Hmm, very brown/orange and seems a bit etheral/sketchy. I'm not so sure about the mounted knight. Fighting fantasy adventure cover art (Puffin books, not the reprints)always was intimate and personal in feeling. It always looked as if you were looking at something through a window or doorway. That way the art seemed to include the viewer, invite them in. This seems a bit epic and distant. Good but definately different to what we're used to.

The very orange/brown is an RGB interpritation of Gold. The actual cover is a gold version of the silver adventure covers.
As the FFRPG is gonna be new, we thought a new piece of art was needed.
I like it

I was referring to the actual "framed" picture when I said ti seemd very brown/orange :p. I'm still not sure how I feel about it exept that it doesn't seem as inviting as the old artwork used to be. That's all I can say really for now 'till I've formed a firmer opinion of it.

Dear Mr Wallis,
I like it - I really do! I believe it is - possibly - a more 'mature' cover and think that (in my opinion)it will most definitely do the job - and in a style that creates a link to both 'd20' and 'Fighting fantasy' but indeed forges ahead on its own!
Good luck with the rest of the project and I do hope that we will see it by the end of the year - I can't wait anymore!
