The Forest of Doom module has a lovely picture depicting the raven perched upon the signpost. Now persoanly I do not prefer the new picture or the old one from the gamebook.
However......
The FOD d20 module's illustration has a major error. The signpost itself. North is out of the picture as the sign points outwards. This means that south is further into the picture (or ahead of the viewer). The east and west arms of the signpost are the wrong way round!
When you are looking south east is on the left and west is on the right and yet this signpost has them the other way round.
Not much that can be done about it now as it's a lovely piece of art and not a diagram but I find it amusing, all the same. |
