Here is another Poem from The Saga of Broc, Priest of Kossuth on his trek to defeat the Warlock of Fire Top Mtn.
Enjoy!!
Darkness Falls:
My friends lie still
Fast asleep
From an ancient spell
Found only in the deep
Over the River
Through the Shadows
Plunged into Darkness
Towards a Minotaur’s maze
A fellow traveler fell
While amidst the battle
A shot of flame, two dwarves started to rage
A dwarven axe came down
To try and hack his head away
Darkness fell within maze
The sounds of swords ready to stave
Two dwarves still close and raging away
While a young inexperienced mage stays away
The Priest of Kossuth, a chandler by trade
Remembers a great power stored safely away
Quickly it is found, a candle abounds
To ward off the darkness so the dwarves’
Rage does not waste away
A shot, a ping and a shing of a blade
The shattering of broken wood
Makes it seem that this dwarf’s life
Will be lost to the god for which he prays
But wait the chandler by trade
Saves him again this day
A shot of flame burst from hand
Zipped a stain of magical fire
To hold his neck high
Whilst the Dwarf still in a Rage
Caused blood to spray
Towards the nights sky.[/font=Andale Mono]
